About Primary Learning Zone

Tables & Pears was created out of real world experience based on the feedback of busy teachers in busy classrooms.

The simple task of testing each classes knowledge of a single table involving creating the text, photocopying , marking , collecting and entering the results on a grid and then re-testing often meant hours of work.

Teachers also told us that although there are Times Table games and paper tests available online there is almost no content for Number Bonds.

There had to an answer. So we made one!

Right on Tracks purpose is to help every child achieve its potential in school. It was created by a team of real teachers who all shared the same frustration with charts we had all made in our own time. These often involved a lot of time preparing and backing a board (using valuable display space), cutting and laminating. Then time each day or each week to move the children icons with blue tack or pins and then record results on forms or through word processing.

House Point purposes are to inspire, motivate and reward all students. It was born out of a need to replace schools currently using paper based charts, post it notes and children missing valuable learning time whilst they went round school totaling points at the end of the week. Head teachers and senior leaders will also save valuable time as reports are available for any time period, any student. House, Class or as a whole school.

Attendance purposes are to bring excitement and real purpose to children in the weekly assembly attendance figures slot. Children of all ages can see visually where their class is compared to their school mates as well as making it easy for schools to reward the winning class. All results are stored so schools can calculate the top class over a term or year.
